Restaurant Sendig focuses entirely on premium quality cuisine and service. We use exclusively international and regional products from selected merchants. Ingenious, exquisite cuisine and the perfect design of elegant dark red and natural white, offset by fine wood elements dominate our gourmet restaurant Sendig. We serve food on exquisite dishes designed to blend harmonically with the interior accompanied by exquisite wines.
Our wine list with 180 items is first class and exquisite – in perfect harmony with the modern and ingenious dishes.
After several positions in haute cuisine, André Tienelt has been our chef at restaurant Sendig for over 1 year. During this time, he repeatedly demonstrated his skills and is now one of the rising stars of haute cuisine - 1 Michelin star (Michelin guide 2010). In the Gault Millau he already achieved 15 points.
Restaurant Sendig already received two awards from Feinschmecker magazine. The regional magazine Augusto headlined “Sensational on its way to the stars” and the restaurant achieved 3rd place in the category “Haute Cuisine” in the Dresden region. (read more)
In november 2009 the Michelin Guide distinguished André Tienelt and the team of the restaurant Sendig with one michelin star for the overriding achievement.
Our restaurant owes its name “Sendig” founder of the hotel business and the honorary citizen of the town of Bad Schandau – Rudolf Sendig. In summer, the atrium terrace invites aficionados to moments to relax and enjoy.
